SHE is limitless

Do you every wish for more time in the day?

Life can be so busy sometimes that you just want to take a some magic pill and get those extra hours or mental capacity to think of and complete your ongoing to do list. It's that Sunday evening feeling when you realize that you didn't do anything on your to do list and now it's going to be Monday. If you just had a couple more hours...even just one extra one, you would totally have your life together.

After watching Limitless, with the blessed-faced Bradley Cooper, it made me reflect on my faith as a Christian. In the movie, he took a pill that gave him access to the fullest capacity of his brain's abilities to think, process and reason. His character approached any challenge boldly, because he knew that he would be able to achieve it.

What would you do if you knew that anything was attainable?

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

-Hebrews 11:1

It's our faith that propels us forward whenever we can't see any of the promises fulfilled.

It's our faith that gives us the confidence to ask for things that are completely out of our control and outside of our ability to achieve.

Bradley Cooper's character said that once he took the special pill, he always felt propelled to move forward. As Christians we should feel propelled to keep moving forward because we live in anticipation of what we know can be accomplished. Instead through His strength and not a magic pill.
